A Garden of Delights: During my stay at this charming hostel, I couldn't help but be enchanted by the large outdoor area adorned with a beautiful garden. It felt like stepping into a fairytale, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery surrounding me. It provided the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful moment away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

great location, within walking distance of the town, and helpful receptionist who gave us tips on where to go. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection and there was free coffee and tea available anytime. The room had a window that could be opened widely for a comfortable sleep. Free parking and amenities like a skateboarding area were a plus.

I always choose this place for my stay. The staff gave me a hot drink when it was cold, and I loved it. It suits me perfectly with the amenities I need: Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen, laundry, and more. I always come back for a city break.

As a traveler passing through, Kongsberg Hostel-Vandrerhjem was the perfect place for my son and me. The location was brilliant, within walking distance of the town center, and also conveniently close to the E134. The receptionist was friendly and gave us great tips for nearby lake bathing. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including different types of egg, bacon, cereals, fruits, and gluten-free options. The kitchen area was spacious and well-maintained, with a fridge and freezer available. a clean and comfortable stay with free parking.

We had a lovely stay at the hostel. the room and bathroom were nice and comfy. the staff was very helpful and lovely. the location was convenient, with easy access to the town via a nearby footpath. We also appreciated the free onsite parking and the fact that breakfast was included in the cost. the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of hot and cold options, including the opportunity to make our own waffles.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel in Kongsberg. The location was perfect for us since we needed to be in Stavern the next day. The center of Kongsberg was also within walking distance. The receptionist was super friendly and gave us excellent advice on where to go for a swim in a nearby lake. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, including several types of eggs, bacon, cereals , vegetables, fruits. They even had free coffee and tea available at all times in the reception area. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the window in our room could be opened widely, allowing us to sleep comfortably despite the hot weather. There was also free parking available, and we loved that there was a skateboarding area and a climbing frame right in front of the property.

No bath mat provided with towels. Ensuite bathroom lacks a fan, which can make it uncomfortable for multiple guests.

The location was absolutely brilliant, allowing us to easily reach our destination the next day. The center of the city was within walking distance, making it super convenient. Despite the hot weather, we were pleasantly surprised that our window could be opened widely, ensuring a great night's sleep. The fact that we had to put on our own bed sheets and return them to the reception might seem like a small inconvenience, but given the incredible price, who can complain? The kitchen was equipped with a fridge and freezer, and there were small baskets to store our food. We also loved the skateboarding area and climbing frame right outside the property, and the fact that parking was free. it was a fantastic stay at a very clean and simple place, perfect for our travel needs.
